St James occupies a unique position in the world of men’s fashion. Sandwiched between Piccadilly to the north and Westminster to south, it has a long history as one of the capital’s menswear hubs, with brands like Floris London founded there in 1730, and Turnbull & Asser in 1885. Nowadays, it has a mix of heritage British brands and newer names, like Grenson, Sunspel and Cubitts, who maintain the area as key to London’s ever-changing menswear scene.
Considering this, it’s no surprise that it hosts a yearly event to mark the start of London Fashion Week Men’s (LFWM), the capital’s bi-annual celebration of all things new and exiting in menswear. Every June, St James stages an open-air runway show down the centre of Jermyn Street, pulling together the best of the area’s independent outfitters, haberdashers and fashion houses. As it’s open air, it’s a unique addition to the schedule as it’s also the only LFWM display that can be seen by the public, giving every onlooker the chance to see some of Britain’s best menswear brands styled together. Even better, each piece on the catwalks (which take place at 12pm, 1.30pm and 3pm on 8 June) will be available to buy right then and there, from the shops in St James.
However, while you can go down and watch from the pavement, what’s even better is getting to watch from the front row. That’s where we come in. We have two courtside seats on the catwalk to give away, where you will not only get to see the clothes up close but you’ll also get to rub shoulders – quite literally, it’s packed – with some of the coolest men and women on Britain’s style scene. To win your seat, plus one for a friend, to one of the three shows on 8 June, simply enter your details below and we’ll be in touch to let you know if you’ve been successful.
Terms & conditions: the competition closes on 05/06/19, with one pair of tickets available to win per person. Winners will be selected at random and contacted via email on the day the competition ends.
